Charles Francis "Frank" Barrett was born June 15, 1869, Leaf Valley, Douglas County, MN. He and Julia Anderson of Lake Benton, MN were married on February 22, 1895 in Rushford, Minnesota at the home Anna and Thomas Kierland, her half-sister and husband.
"After his mother's death, Frank moved to Doon, Iowa where he worked for Mike Fox."
