Pioneer Settler Called by Death

Carl Schaefeers died at his home here Sunday morning having reached the advanced age of 80 years. His death came very suddenly as he appeared to be in his usual good health the day before. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife two sons and four daughters. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning from St. Joseph's church by Rev. Fr. Krebs and burial made in the Polo cemetery.
